What we are looking for
We require accomplished IT professionals to provide remote and onsite server environment support and project implementation to a range of clients within Greater London & Home Counties. You will be based from our South West London office but spend the vast majority of your time at our client sites. You will have at least three years UK commercial IT experience, having supported a varied base of small to medium-sized business clients. You will be a highly experienced IT support expert with a complete knowledge of all small business and corporate technology solutions. You will have proven hands on experience with all Windows Operating Systems, Exchange, Active Directory, and various Anti Virus, Backups and Monitoring tools. Knowledge of the following would be beneficial: routers, switches, firewalls, VPN's, TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.;
Basically, you will be able to install or troubleshoot a Windows SBS server with your eyes closed but also carry out a restore from backup in a similar amount of time.
Essential Skills
- Network +, Server +, MCSA, MCSE or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience as a systems administrator within a Small to Medium corporate environment
- Highly experienced with all mainstream business applications and solutions
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Past experience of working alone and being self-managed
- Proven experience of producing and maintaining technical documentation
